The Brief

Located on the Sydney harbour fore shore at Barangaroo, the International Towers have set a new benchmark for premium commercial space in Australia's cities. Comprised of three high-rise buildings with a combined 280,000 sqm of the most progressive workspaces in the country, International Towers is home to some of Australia's leading companies.

The large-scale project entailed a commercial fit out for the provision of SMATV and MATV systems throughout Towers 1, 2 and 3 requiring project management, design, supply, installation, commissioning and testing of a new fully integrated system.

The Challenge

The International Towers were designed and built to be a showcase for world-leading innovations in premium office buildings. Aligning with this ambition was the client expectation that JONSA set to fulfil. A particular challenge was to explore different methods of delivery and decide between a single system linking all towers or independent distribution systems, the latter being the client's preferred solution.

The Outcome

Fit-out for the south tower was the first to be completed with the JONSA OneSolution team providing a flawless and timely installation that passed commissioning and testing with ease. The other towers followed the same protocol set. It was quite an achievement to be able to deliver to the high standards and expectations of Australia's new landmark buildings.
