The Brief

Tabcorp is one of the world's largest wagering and gaming companies, delivering its core businesses through retail, digital and Sky media platforms within a 24-hour operation. The company called on JONSA when it moved its Sydney headquarters into a landmark, prime grade tower in the CBD within the World Square Centre.

The task was essentially a new commercial tenancy fit out for an MATV system including project management, design, supply, installation, commissioning and testing.

The Challenge

Limited space in the communications rack area was a clear issue for the extent of cables, and AV leads connecting equipment to be installed. Precise installation planning was of the essence. Another challenge to overcome was the RF feeds going to each PC, what with bulky cables and limited space in the partition dividers posing a threat to sufficient barrier separation not to mention keeping the installation compliant with TS009 open cabling registration.

The Outcome

Tabcorp was extremely happy with the end result. JONSA OneSolution's Project Management Team and System Integration Installation Plan worked out some minor issues along the way, however, overall the commissioning, testing and hand over was a smooth process. Tabcorp's project brief was met and exceeded expectations, winning additional points for future proofing the system for further integration in the years ahead.
